After nearly a decade of treating psychiatric disorders, in both primary and critical care settings, Lisa recognized a rising demand for quality mental health providers in her community. In response, she founded Talk Tribeca to offer specialized mental health care, built on clinical excellence and compassionate support.
Throughout her career, as a board certified Nurse Practitioner, Lisa earned a reputation as a trusted provider for those dealing with mental and emotional challenges. Known for her innate ability to connect with patients and her wealth of clinical experience, her commitment to mental health deepened when her son was diagnosed with Autism at age 3. Witnessing firsthand the challenges of accessing integrated and cohesive mental health services, Lisa was driven to create Talk Tribeca—a practice where seamless, expert psychiatric care and compassion come together.
Committed to excellence, Lisa pursued additional psychiatric training and secured a coveted position in the prestigious Post-Master’s Psychiatric Mental Health Fellowship program at Hunter-Bellevue. For nearly two years, she has been collaborating with leaders in the field, undergoing rigorous training, and gaining invaluable insights into the art of proper diagnosis and the treatment of a diverse range of mental illnesses.
As a former Associate Professor of Psychology at the City University of New York and a current Clinical Associate Professor at New York University, Columbia University, Pace University, and Hunter-Bellevue, she is dedicated to shaping the future of mental health care. she holds a Master of Science in Nursing from Pace University, a Master’s in Counseling Psychology from NYU, and a Bachelor’s in Psychology from Loyola University. Upon completing her Fellowship, she will earn an advanced practice degree in Psychiatry and will go on to achieve dual board certification.
